A Spessa, vicino a Cividale, sui Colli Orientali del Friuli, la “Ronchi San Giuseppe” condotta dalla famiglia Zorzettig, racconta la vicenda di tre generazioni che nel secondo dopoguerra, a partire dal nonno Pietro, hanno coltivato a vigneto questa splendida terra. Oggi il podere è un punto d’incontro, all’insegna del meglio, fra viticoltura tradizionale e moderna. Per la famiglia Zorzettig conservarsi sensibili e attenti ai valori del passato vuol dire rimanere fedeli a certi passaggi produttivi che vogliono, quando è necessario, il legno e l’affinamento in botte, oppure vuol dire dedicare particolare attenzione alle colture autoctone. Ed ecco che vitigni un tempo confinati all’uso e consumo locale come lo Schioppettino tra i rossi e la Ribolla Gialla tra i bianchi, sono stati recuperati per nuovi impianti.

In Spessa, near Cividale, on the Colli Orientali del Friuli, the Ronchi San Giuseppe winery run by the Zorzettig family, tells the story of three generations who, since the post-war period, starting with grandfather Pietro, have been growing vines on this beautiful land. Nowadays, the estate combines, in a continuous search for the best, traditional and modern vine growing techniques. For the Zorzettig family, remaining faithful to the values of the past means remaining faithful to certain productive transitions that require, when necessary, wood and ageing in barrels, or dedicating particular attention to indigenous cultivation. As such the vines, that were once confined to local use, like Schioppettino and Ribolla Gialla, have now been recovered for new plant layouts.

In Spessa, in der Naehe von Cividale, auf den Colli Orientali del Friuli, erzaehlt die Ronchi San Giuseppe, die von der Familie Zorzettig gefuehrt wird, die Ereignisse aus drei Generationen, die in der zweiten Nachkriegszeit, beginnend mit dem Grossvater Pietro, dieses herrliche Gebiet als Weinberg angebaut haben. Heute ist das Landgut ein Treffpunkt, im Zeichen des Besten, zwischen traditionellem und modernem Weinanbau. Fuer die Familie Zorzettig, die den Werten der Vergangenheit gegenueber sensibel und aufmerksam bleibt, heisst dies, gewissen Arbeitsvorgaengen treu zu bleiben, die, wenn es notwendig ist, das Holz und die Verfeinerung im Fass verlangen, oder dem Anbau der einheimischen Sorten besondere Aufmerksamkeit zu schenken. Deshalb sind Weinstoecke, die einst zum oertlichen Verbrauch, wie der Schioppettino und der Ribolla Gialla, beschraenkt waren, fuer neue Anlagen wieder gewonnen worden.
