La Casa del Nonno is a two-storey house of approximately 120 square metres, recently renovated in rustic style. The lower floor has a living area with fireplace and pellet stove, and a bathroom. The upper floor has a hallway/study area study, a double bedroom with a private balcony, and a triple bedroom, providing accommodation for 6 people in total. There is a TV with Italian and foreign channels and a CD player. The kitchen is provided with hobs, convection oven, fridge, dish-washer, dishware and cookware. A barbecue and a private garden are available outside, provided with deckchairs, sunshades, and a table and chairs for open-air meals. Pets can be accommodated on request.
The house sits in a quiet village in natural surroundings 600 metres above sea level overlooking the Alberone Valley. San Pietro al Natisone can be reached in 10 minutes by car, while Cividale del Friuli is 15 minutes away. Mount Matajur is within easy reach, either by car, or on foot along a recently repaired and signposted path. It is ideal for a family holiday, but will also appeal to hikers, mountain bikers, nature lovers and anyone looking for somewhere to relax.
