Casa Carbonara is an old and distinguished villa occupying ancient grounds in the historic central area of Cividale del Friuli, where nature’s peace and quiet lie adjacent to the town centre and its amenities (the railway station is within 5 minutes walking distance, and the bus station is only 3 minutes away). It adjoins a large free parking area and a pedestrian-only area. Notable features of the accommodation, which has an independent entrance, include its spaciousness, high ceilings and wooden floors. It consists of a double bedroom with private bathroom, and a double and a twin room sharing a bathroom.  A large breakfast room is located on the ground floor where a typical continental breakfast is served, mainly based on local organic produce. This room is equipped with sink unit, electric oven, kettle, coffee machine and toaster, and may be used by guests throughout the day for preparing small snacks. Guests may also use a part of the garden that has been furnished with a table and chairs and also contains a bicycle shelter. Various items, such as cot, high chair, bottle warmer and toys, can be provided for very young guests upon request. The B&B takes non-smokers only, and is particularly suitable for families, who will find that its quiet spaciousness provides a convenient base for trips into Cividale and the surrounding area. Pets can be accommodated by prior agreement, in purpose-built kennels in the garden or in an adjacent out-building. The owners speak Italian, Spanish, English and French.
