As soon as you arrive at the first houses in Fusine, you meet a road to the left that goes up towards Mount Forno. After three kilometres turn left. At about 6 kilometres there is a car park, continue to the right to 1000 metres above sea level. This last trail, characterized by an uneven surface, climbs to within a short distance of the Italian - Austrian border. Go down towards the valley, repeating the last two kilometres, near the no entry turn left, taking the variant that crosses Mount Cavallar. Then near the Capanna di Caccia the road starts to descend and after a couple of hairpin bends in the locality of Mesule woods you reconnect with the road that you took previously to arrive. Return to the main road , and only a couple more kilometres of asphalt and then the end of your hard work.
