Rules of Behaviour
We must treat this area with the fullest respect, and even more so as it is so easily accessible, if we are to save it for future generations. To preserve the integrity of the environment, certain general rules must be followed. Fishing in the lakes is strictly regulated, and dogs must be kept on a lead.
IT IS FORBIDDEN: to drive motor vehicles and motor bikes off-road; to collect or damage flowers, mushrooms, trees and shrubs; to set up camp; to light fires; to throw away lighted cigarettes; to throw away rubbish; to remove fossils or minerals.
MUSHROOM GATHERING is strictly regulated.
VISITORS MUST: keep to signposted routes; avoid creating noise and disturbances; keep dogs on a lead; respect the work of local people; take care not to damage unattended mountain buildings (baite and stavoli); respect animals.
